Farber Disease Poster Presentation at SSIEM 2022

The abstract entitled “Acid ceramidase deficiency presenting as Farber disease: Patient Reported Outcomes and correlation to key clinical assessments from the first prospective natural history study” has been accepted for a poster presentation at the SSIEM Annual Symposium in Freiburg, Germany, August 30 – September 2, 2022.

The poster (#PO20-2058) will be presented on August 31, 2022 from 18:45 – 20:15 CET by Dr. John Mitchell of Montreal Children’s Hospital. This poster will present data from the Observational and Cross-Sectional Cohort Study of the Natural History and Phenotypic Spectrum of Farber Disease.

The Society for the Study of Inborn Errors of Metabolism (SSIEM), founded in 1963, aims to foster the study of inherited metabolic disorders and related topics. The Society promotes the exchange of ideas between professional workers in different disciplines who are interested in inherited metabolic disease through scientific meetings and publications.
